Comment by Linda Armstrong on November 27, 2008 at 11:37am: You never know what you can do to help. Most people have some sort of skill and even making the tea is a help. Just be prepared for anything and say YES.
The rewards are tremendous. Seeing smiling faces that only a short time ago were filled with pain and fear is the biggest reward. Seeing confidence emerge and the children playing is also huge.
