Currently working full-time for a website design company in Auckland, running an online arts business and doing general admin/web support stuff.
I have a background in arts, specifically I studied woven texiles and also have experience in B&W photographic darkroom techniques, and some some musical skills (although out of practice!).
I love meeting new people and doing things that are worthwhile and useful. I also enjoy learning new skills in the process.
I have also recently started learning baout reflexology, something I have been interested in for a while.
Keen to get out there, get involved, help out and meet some like minded people!
Skills and experience
Enjoy helping out as and when I can fit it in. I have volunteered on conservation projects in the UK and in Latin America and I have also worked with Spider Monkeys in Boliva and Sea turtles in Guatemala.
I enjoy opportunities to use my creativity, to work with children & to work on projects supporting the environment, animals and sustainbility.
As mentionned previously I have an arts education and experience working within the arts industry both in the UK and here in NZ.
More recently, through my current job, I have learnt a lot about the web and have been expanding my understanding of what is a good website, using content management systems, bit of tech support, and online marketing opportunities and social networking.
Speak a bit of spanish and french too if that helps?!
Friendly and keen!
