Hi Pennie, there are a couple of places on the upcoming trips. The process is to send a short CV to rachel@tucker.co.nz (copy me as well jane@tucker.co.nz) with a bit of background about yourself and why you are interested. Then if you look suitable we ask you to complete a Police vetting form (it's a requirement for some of our CYFS funding). Alright?

Hi Pennie, thanks for the comment. Our first youth trip is in May and I will just need to check which trips still have spaces for volunteers.

I see you are on the Future Leaders mentoring programme - I'm on the Far North Programme, just started last year. Small world!

About Me
I've returned to NZ after 8yrs in Scotland. I love getting out and about, playing sport, photography, music, reading, tramping and I love animals.

My volunteering includes - sport volunteering (netball coaching and officiating, touch rugby refereeing, chairing various committees etc) and conservation volunteering (Scotland and NZ). I am also a mentor for a Future Leaders programme in Auckland.

I love Africa and have been three times for approx seven months in total. I would love to spend some quality time in Africa doing something for the fantastic people there.
Skills and experience
Sport development - coaching, officiating, running sports camps etc.
Outdoors - tree-planting, wall building, footpath building, hiking etc.
Admin - excellent computers, very experienced Committee member
Other - leadership skills, mentoring/coaching skills...
