Fundraise for something you care about

I work at the website www.givealittle.co.nz. In this blog entry I briefly want to tell you about who we are, what we do and what this site can do for you! Don't miss this chance!

Givealittle is an online giving portal where people can support different charities, causes and projects they care about. This support can be done in many different ways. The three main options are:

DONATE

If you want to financially support something you care about, we have a browse possibility where you can look through different categories, and find numerous places to leave a few dollars. We have recently introduced the quick donation option, where NO personal data is required. This was, for many people, an obstacle to go ahead and donate.

However, BECOMING A MEMBER is absolutely worth it.

You can personalize your page, use "My Givealittle" to keep track of your donations and receive updates of charities and projects you support.

FUNDRAISE

The other option to get involved is to start a fund raising campaign. If you are planning on doing something very unusual for you as a person, you will be surprised what people are willing to give.

So, if you would like to raise funds for a charity of your choice, use our site to manage donations and spread the word. We have different communication tools to really get your message out there. Widgets, blogs, share tools, gathering supporters, etc. these tools can make it go viral!

CREATE

This part is interesting for those wanting to start volunteering. You can set up your personal project about your volunteering, receive the funds and that way finance your expenses and/ or forward it to your volunteering recipient.

SUM UP

So basically, to sum it up in a few words... we are an online tool for everyone to use for FREE, to spread the word of what great initiatives you are taking, create a new network of a giving community and leave some pennies behind at places that you care about!
