Samoa Tsunami artwork commission

Givealittle have done an amazing job on fundrasing for the Samoa Tsunami Relief Fund and have just rolled over the $90k mark - wow! If you havent already signed up to these guys group then please head over to their Givealittle Group for oppotunities to get involved!

Since launching the Samoa Tsunami Relief Fund online Givealittle have been blown away by the comments from donors all around the world being left on the the Samoa Tsunami Relief Fund page and decided that these must be recorded in a suitable way. To do this they plan on commissioning a piece of art to record the comments and then gift the work to the people of Samoa.

We are seeking expressions of interest & proposals to complete an artwork that captures the generosity and donor response post the Samoa Tsunami. Donors have been giving online at www.givealittle.co.nz/tsunami and there have been over 1,000 individual donations to date.

We are looking for an artist who can reflect the activity at Givealittle in support of the tsunami, including:

1. Individual donations in a way that alludes to a timeline since the tsunami struck on Wednesday

2. Donation timing, donor comments, donation values
