Teaching and Building in Tanzania - 28 days

Days 1-2: Moshi/ Rural project - Discover the bustling market town of Moshi, dominated by the magnificent Mt Kilimanjaro, then head off into the mountain's foothills to your new village home. Arriving at the village you'll be greeted by community representatives and will have time to settle in to your new home.

Days 3-14: Teaching and Building - Enjoy the daily routine of building, teaching and sipping chai tea as you chat and learn Kiswahili from your foreman. There's also plenty of time to join the adults in their cooperative groups, teaching them English or learning traditional dances and weaving. Celebrate a successful first week with a trip to Moshi or Arusha for a weekend of well earned rest. The throw yourself back into art classes, building or playing sports with your new local friends (adults and children alike).

Days 15-27: Cultural development - As you become a part of the community there'll be plenty of opportunities to develop side projects. Run classes for adults, create educational murals, organise sports tournaments and learn more about the Swahili culture.
Day 28: Moshi - Four weeks on and your building will have changed dramatically from when you first started. Celebrate a fantastic project with your team and new found local friends before returning to Moshi.
